FRASER ROAD.
(From Our Own Correspondent.) FARMERS’ UNION ACTIVITIES. At the annual meeting of the local branch of the Farmers’ Union on Monday evening plans were laid for the winter meetings. On Monday next- we open with a visit, from Messrs Day and "Williams, or Hamilton, who will tell us about the mammitis vaccine. One herd on Eraser Road is to be inoculated. Then we expect an address from an old friend, Mr R. B. Wood, ALR.CW.S., possibly on the same subject. Finally there are a dozen others in view, and, if matters develop, then your correspondent hopes to be able to’ contribute points of interest to and add further to the information gained by Air Buckeridge’s articles in the Star. Nuff sed! The following officers were elected: President, Mr L. A, Jennings; vicepresidents, Alessrs R. Smith and A. L. Campbell; secretary-treasurer, Air W. J. Aletealf; auditor, Mr J. AY. Thompson. The spirit of the meeting was a tine augury of future' success, and Eraser Road farmers would do well to rally round.
