LONDON WOOL SALES. Messrs Dalgety and Company, Ltd., report having received the following cablegram from their London lioiise under date of the sth instant: Wool sales opened. Attenadnce of buyers is large; fair selection; competition very irregular; withdrawals very heavy. As compared with last sale’s closing rates, super merinos 15 per cent lower, merinos of other descriptions 20 per cent lower, greasy crossbreds 30 per cent lower, scoured and slipe crossbreds 25 per cent lower.
