HUNTING.
For many years hunting has been, as is expected of a community largely composed of farmers a very popular sport, and -the Emnont-Wanganui •Hunt Club has been a well-known name for probably close on forty years. Every season it_ has had its list of hunts from the end of April until the end of July. For the information of the many interested up and down the coast the list .of this season’s fixtures is appended: May 6, Mr. Gamlin’s, Manaia; May 9, Mr. Jas. Watkin’s, Waverley; June 24, Mr. T. Allan’s, Okaiawa; June 27, Nukumaru; July 1 Mr. T. McPhillip’s, Manaia; July 4, Mr. B. W. Harvey’s, Ivohi; July 8, Wlienuakura; July 11, Point-to-Point, Waverley; July 15, Mr. A. Mitchell’s, Manaia; July 18, Mr. C. G.
