AUCKLAND BURGLARY CASES (B V TKPKGRAPF—PURER ARBOOIATIOHAUCKLAND, May 8. In the Supreme Court, Robert Heaton Munro and Daniel Thomas Flynn pleaded guilty to 17 charges of breaking and entering, theft, and convert.ng stolen property. Tnev were remanded for sentence till Monday. ALLEG ED BOOKMAKLNG. AUCKLAND, May 8. The jm-.v, after four houis’ retirement, to-night failed to agree in the Supreme Court trial of George Francis Shaw for alleged book making at Whangarei. The Crown Prosecutor said that the allegation against the accused was that while at Whangaiei he was observed by police officers to bo frequenting hotels, frequently with groups of men around him. He Iraki also /been about Utba streets with other men, and on certain race davs was observed to lie particularly busy. The jury also failed to agree in another bookmaking charge against a Dalmatian in connection with-the Matakohe races.
