OPERA HOTLSE, BABY PEGGY IN “THE FAMILY SECRET.” Baby Peggy has been in pictures since the age of one and one-half years. She is now just past four, and is starred in multiple reel dramatic productions such as the Universal-Jewel release, “The Family Secret,” which opened last evening at the Opera House. She started in one-reel comedies as an extra! Now she is one of the “biggest stars.” Some rise lor a baby! The -story is an adaptation of the Frances Hodgson Burnett story, “Editha.’s Burglar,” from which Augustus Thomas wrote his first- stage success. The supporting programme is excellent. GRAND THEATRE—TO-NIGHT. “IN EVERY WOMAN’S LIFE.” Many blood horses are used in First National’s forthcoming feature, “In Every Woman's J/ife,’’ which will be the main attraction at the Grand Theatre this evening. Among.* the scenes is one never before attempted in motion pictures —a dinner on horseback. Fifty thoroughbreds are used in this scene. Virginia. Villi will be seen in tli© leading role of this unusual love drama of society life, with Marc MacDermott and other favourites in support. The supporting programme includes a “Hallroom Boys” comedy entitled “My Mistake,” and latest Topical Budget. * kapunga pictures. “The White Rose,” the DAY. Griffiths ten reel masterpiece, showing tonight. i s a picture of supreme merit. It’tells' a simple but deeply moving st-ory of a- woman’s undying love- in a manner that causes one to forget the screen and remember only the story. Mae Marsh is perfect ns the girl.
