The Dailv Herald states that an allRussian council of trades unions, meetihg at Moscow, 1 unanimously ratified the agreement reached at the London conference. A conference was held in London from April 6 to April 8 between delegates from the All Russian Central Council of Trade Unions, headed by M. Tomsky, president of the council, and representatives of the British Trade Union Congress General Counci 1 , headed by Mr Swales, president of the congress, to deal with the difficulties in the way of affiliation of the Russian trade union movement to the International Federation of Trade Unions. The conference reached an agreement in favour of joint efforts to induce the Amsterdam International to agree to a free, unconditional and immediate conference with the representatives of the Russian trade union movement by a free exchange of information and the establishment of a joint advisory council consisting of the chairman, secretaries and three members of each movement.
