PERSONAL ITEMS.
Rev. F. Moran, formerly curate at St. Joseph’s, was in Hawera recently on his wav to New Plymouth, whither he has now been transferred. Re\ r . F. Minoghue is now.in charge of the New Plymouth narish. Mr T. M. Wilford, M.P., sprained his ankle badly on Tuesday just as he was walking up the sloping access to the stage at- the Town Hall for the welcome to the All Blacks at Wellington. He did not feel the sprain much at the time, but while .speaking it almost eompeltely mastered him, and he had to sit down to deliver the -remainder of his speech. He will be forced to remain in-bed for two or three days.
