/ CONCLUDING SCENES. \ BY CABLE—PRESS ASSOCIATION—COPYRIGHT. LONDON, March 17. In the Thorne case, Mr Justice Finlay, summing up, said there' was no question of law. The whole question was whether the prisoner deliberately inflicted the injuries. If there was any real doubt in the jury’s- mind as to how Miss Cameron died, it would he their duty to acquit the prisoner. The jury was absent for half-an-hour and returned with a verdict of guilty.
