HOTEL ON FIRE.
LICENSEE LOSES EVERYTHING.

CHRISTCHURCH, Nov. 14. The Rotherham Hotel, in North Canterbury, was destroyed by fire, the licensee, U. Dando, losing everything of value, including £SO in notes The boarders were awakened by smoke and Iqst a portion of their clothes. Mrs. Dando fainted on the fire escape, but was unhurt. A defective chimney was probably the caiise.
