FARMERS! CO-OP. REPORT.

The Fanners’ Go-operative Organisation Society of N.Z., Ltd., report as follows: , At Eltliam on the 12th inst. we .are able to report a good yarding, especially in the store pens; a .pen of -■> fiat bullocks on account of E. Magner, Eisq., making £9 18s. Buyers were in attendance and a successful clearance resulted. Quotations:, Fat bull-, ocks £9 18s, fat cows £4 18s to £5 2s 6d, forward cows £3 14s to £4 10s, fat heifers £6 2s to £6 15s, Jersey yearling heifers, £1 10s to £2 18s, Holstein ditto £2 le, pedigree bulls 15 ’ gns, grade dairy bulls 7gns. to 12gns, dairy cows £5 to £6 10s. At Hawera on Thursday, the 13th inst., we lilad a good yarding, effecting practically a total clearance ' at prices satisfactory to /vendors. We quote pigs: Porkers £2 16s, sow to farrow £2 15s, stores 355, best weaners 27s 6d, others 21s to 255, pedigree weaner boar fat hoggets (shorn) 34s 3d, fat 2-tooth wethers (shorn); 37s 6d to 38s 9d, fat shorn ewes 27a 6d, fat P.A. heifers £8 Bs. fat Shorthorn heifers £8 17s to £8 17s 6d, others’ £7 10s to £8 ss, fat crossbred’ cows £6 10s to £8 2s 6d, store cows £4 10s to £5, best works, cows £3 IQs to £4 10s, others £2 2s to £3 ss, 3year steefs £5, best yearling Jersey heifers £3 16s, others £2 2s to £3, Holstein yearling heifers £3 10s. In the daii*y pens prices were on a low scale, no doubt .due to the lateness of the season, best, heifers making from £6 15s to £9, second calvers £8 to £9. Bulls: Best 2-year bulls lOgns, others £8 8s ‘ to £9 9s, pedigree yearling bulls £8 8s to £l2 12s, works bulls to £6 10s.
