The New Zealand ladies’ golf championship ended on the 27th green today in favour of Mrs. Peake (Cambridge), who defeated Miss M. Payton (Auckland) 10 up and 9to play. Mrs. Peake’s steady, consistent play won her the championship. Miss Payton was to-day particularly off her green work.
