Known—lt is certainly good policy to study every line of merchandise when studying prices, but it is also expedient to keep in mind who brought the prices down to the low lev.el that prevails to-dav it is a notable fact that up to 3 years ago Hawera. was an outstanding town for ugh prices, and .just 3 years ago the change came, and Hawera i s now the lowest priced town in the North Island for groceries, etc. This cannot be accounted for by a general decline m prices as the fall would be reflected in other towns as well as Hawera.
