THEFT FROM PERSON. ( (BY TELEGRAPH— PRESS ASSOCIATION.! WELLINGTON, August i. At the Supreme Court, Frederick Courtenay was found guilty on two charges of theft from the person. The dime took place some months ago "hen the police arrested a man liarneu Bouike, now in gaol, on the' same charge, and Christopher Mortis, a negro, who absconded bail. Courtenay wps found by the police a few weeks later, and after a chase was arrested. Sentence will b e passed to-morrow. The Court is now hearing a case in which Julia Ruddlesdoa and Frederick Raynor Piuney are charged with the unlawful use of instruments on a single woman named Lucy Pope.
