VITAL STATISTICS. {Received 13. 9.25 a.m.) Sydney, November 13. During the last three months the population of the State has increased by 12.696, the largest quarterly increase for many years. The number of births are a record. PAYMENT OF MEMBEFS. The Assembly, by a 2 to I majority. decided to increase the payment of members from £IOO to £l5O. FINANCE BILL READ A THIRD TIME. The House, after stormy protests on the part of the Opposition against the application of the closure, passed the third reading of the Finance Bill by 39 to 27. The House has adjourned until Tuesday.
