Killed By a Train.
PRESS ASSOCIATION. Auckland, April 15. A man was killed by a collision with a train last night. He had in his pocket an o'd pension certificate in the name of Murdock McLeod. His age is about seventy years. Wellington, April 15. Joseph Thawley, an old resident of Wellington was run over by the Wellington-New Plymouth train at Pataparaumu this morning and injured so much that he died. His sons are grocers in Wellington. Deceased was about 68 years of age and had lived here for 25 years. He recently went to live at Paraparaumu for the benefit of his health.
