Alarming Experience
PER PRESS ASSOCIATION. Christhurecii last night—The pas- ! sengers in the s. s. Cygnet 24 tons, had an alarming experience on the tri.p from the Akaroa lying in the stream. Fully GOO were on board. Wl.eu the boat was some distance olf the wharf she began to roll in a terrifying mannnr. A number of passengers prepared to jump overboard, fearing a capsize. The sea was calm and thnie was no wind. The Cygnet reached the larger boat without mishap.
