FIRES.
LARGE STORE DESTROYED (Received 3, 9.55 a.m.) Melbourne, March 3. Harrison Brother's large store at Wangaratta has been destroyed by fire. The damage is estimated at £ISOOO. PAEKAKARIKI HOTEL. PER PRESS ASSOCIATION. Wellington, March 3. The Paekakariki Hotel, lessee Mr Hilton," and owner Mr Anyon, was burned to the ground this morning. Nothing but the piano was saved. The fire is supposed to have started in the dining room.
