Drowning Fatality.

PRESS ASSOCIATION. Napier, December 21 Intimation has been received of a drowning fatality at Hangaroa, Poverty Bay. Cecil Bertham, aged 20 years, son of Robinson, Bertham, Bertham, the well-known mercers, of Dunedin, got out of his depth whilst bathing, and was drowned before his companion could reach him. The body was subsequently recovered. The deceased was a bright and promising youth. He was learning sheep-farming at Hangaroa station. The body will be taken to Dunedin for interment.
