Master Loach sang " Ora Pro Nobis" as an offertory solo. There were large congregations at both services. Mr Blamires speaks on his work to-night in the Church at 7.30.

On Monday last Mr F. Cook, Borough road overseer, handed his resignation to the Mayor (Mr T. J Thompson), who, in view of the large amount of work contemplated by :n t Council, prevailed upsn Mr Cook tc reconsidtr the matter, which he did Since the wordy passage between tb.
