j Received November 5, 4.45 p.m j London, November 5 The Spanish Electric Light Company of Tahgiers refused to pay blackmail to Raisuli, and closed its works. The Sultan reopened them, but Raisuli closed them again until the company conceded his terms. The incident has caused anxiety, showing that Raisuli is the only existing force in Northern Morocco. An encounter took place at Tidjaja between a band of Moors and a detachment of tirailleurs. A number of tirailleurs were killed, also 150 Moors, including a number of chiefs.
