Wellington, November 6
At the sitting of the Arbitration Court to-day, in the case of Hughes v Union S.S. Company, in which the company expressed their willingness to pay the balance of £B2 due in a lump sum, Justice Chapman said that where the payments of lump sums were concerned, it was the duty of the Court to investigate the matter of investment.
