Received September 17, 10.16 a.m J Sydney, Septe nber 17 ' The employees of the Proprietary Mine at Broken Hill meet to-day to consider whether, in view of the high price of metals, a case for increased wages should not be cited for arbitration. Melbourne, September 17 Steamship owners and the Federated Seamen's Union signed an agreement increasing wages by 10s per month, and making several new regulatioas in reference to overtime and hours.
