W.VNDKUIXIJ CATTLE I D, Ellison, charged with allowing ] cattle to btray at Te Aute, pleaded j guilty and was fined 10s and cost 7s. ( theft j Alfred Miners, was charged with » stealing property valued at JEIS 10s from the residence of Paul Pahi at Paki Paki. Evidence was given fer the prosecution by Paul Pahi, Kati Paki, Harriet Pohe Heme, Fanny Preston, H. J. Crysell, John Bee, and Sergeant Smart. Accused, who pleaded guilty, was committed to appear for sentence at the next sitting of the Supreme Court, Wellington. CIVIL, CASES.
