Wellington, June 22 Ihe writ for the Hokitika byeelection will be issued at the beginning of next week, and it is anticipated that the election will be fixed for Tuesday, July 10. It is regarded as alnrst certain that Mr Thomas Sedilon, the late Premier's second son, will be nominated. Mr 11. L. Michel, Mayor of Hokitika, has decided to stand against, allcomers.
