THE ETHEL RINGING-IN CASE. (Pec Prcss Association.) Wellington, March 8. The Masterton Racing Club stewards met this afternoon to further consider the Ethel ringing-in case. It was resolved that the chairman of the Racing Conference be asked to advise the club whether, assuming that the Masterton Club is of opinion that the mare Ethel (really Cupid) was rung in at Ashburton as Virgil, and that Mr R. S- Henry is connected with the ringing-in, ought-the Masterton Club to deal with the matter or ought it to be referred to the Ashburton Club to deal with, and all evidence forwarded, and that pending the chairman's answer the Masterton Club's decision be suspended with regard to Henry.
