KEEN COMPETITION,

London, March 8
Balnae, Buxton. .Jacombe, and Schwartz in their joint catalogue presented 11,1 i 9 bales of wool of representative classes. Tbe keenest competition was experienced. There was large attendance of buyers, including some Americans. All merinos and fine crossbred s were firm with an upward tendency. Low crossbreda were 5 per cent below February rates.
