PICQUART'.S COURT-MARTIAL ADJOURNED. EX-CAPTAIN" DREYFUS. (Per Tress Association. — Copyright.) Parts, Dec. 12. Persistent rumors are rife here that the arrival of ex-Captain Dreyfus is imminent. An escort of 150 troops is in readiness to meet him. Colonel Picquart's court-martial has been adjourned sin>- die. The Anti-Dreyfusard journals violently attack the Court of Cassation, and invite the army to avenge the insult. PRECAUTIONARY MEASURES. PICQUART'S RELEASE. (Received Dec. 13, 10.40 a,m). Pabis, Dec. 12. Tha French Government is taking extensive precautionary measures in connection with the rumored arrival of ex-Captain Dreyfus. A thousand guards and police have been detailed to prevent the followers of M. Deronlede and other anti-Dreyfusities making a demonstration in the streets and at the railway stations. It is expected that Dreyfus will be lodged at Conciergeri Car Palace De Justice, and so render it unnecessary for him to traverse the streets en route to the tribunal. It is believed that M. Freycinet will order Picquart's release, M. Zurlinden having refused to cb so.
