New York, Nov. 28.
Eight thousand persons have bean thrown out of employment by a conflagration at Lynn. The damage is estimated at a million sterling. The terrible feature of the dinaster was the looting of the ruin by bands of ruffians.
London, November 28. The tenants on the Olphert estate have abandoned the plan of campaign. The Financial Times says the colony of Victoria wi’l persist in borrowing until her credit is stopped. The prices of her stocks are far too high and it is absurd she should be allowed to borrow at four par cent.
