IN pursuance of tbe Regulations of Elections Aut, 1881, I, James Booth,Raturn. tag Officer for the East Coast Electoral District, do hereby give notice that by virtue of a writ, bearing date the fourteenth day of November, 1889, under the hand of the Clerk of tbe Writs, an Election will be held for the return of a qualified person to serve as a Member for the said Electoral District; and that the Nomination of Candidates will take place at tbe Court House, Gisborne, at noon, on the 6th day of December, 1889, and that a Poll (if necessary) will be taken at the several Polling Places of the said District onthelßzs DAY OF DECEMBER, 1889.
