A Lament from Patutahi.

Sin,—l see that Mr Arthur has arranged to have his Patutahi meeting on the lame night as the Hospital Concert. As many Patutahi people wish to go in to the Park to witness the sports and also to remain in town for the concert, I am surprised at a meeting being arranged for a night when it would injure the Hospital finances, The date has long enough been fixed by the Hospital Trustees, and Mr Arthur has had plenty of time to addrasi the country electors, especially as we have never beard him before, and I think if there is no consideration for the patqtabi people there ought at least to be some lor ths Hospital.— I am, etc,, PkTUTXBL
