ARRIVALS. The schooner Gisborne (Captain Skinner) arrived from Auckland via way ports on Thursday. The steamer Wairarapa(Captsin Chatfield), from Auckland, arrived in the bay on Thursday. Passengeis: M'ss H. Ellis, Miss L. Thompson, Messrs Quigley, Prime, and Snow. The s.s Southern Cross came into the bay on Thursday afternoon, from Auckland via coastal ports. The s.s. Australia, from Wellington and Napier, arrived here early yesterday morning. Passengers : Mrs Peterson and child, Messrs Fordham, Kelly, and Williamson. DEPARTURES. The *.*. Wairarapa went on south on Thursday night, taking—Mrs Irvine and 2 children, Met- tames Pollen, W. E. Akroyd, Caldwell, and Featon; Misses Atkins, Walters, Wincboombe, Pollen, and Maher, Rev. J. Ward, Master Johnston, Messrs Skerrett, Atkins, Winser, Hipe, Brassey, Featon (2), Daude, and Harding. The S.S. Australia steamed on to Auckland yesterday morning. The s.s. Southern Cross steamed on to Napier yesterday afternoon, taking—Messrs Hewett, Sullivan, and Boyle. IMPORTS.
