HAIRA TE PERI CONSIDERED TO BE THE CRIMINAL. Tolooa Bay, last night, A large crowd ot natives have just arrived from Awanui, Tha trial of Haira has not yet been concluded. It is considered almost certain that Haira is the criminal. Although Hohepa is still in custody it is doubtful if he had any hand in the murder, as someone has proved that he was playing cards at Waipiro on the night of the murder. A large crowd of natives h tve gathered at Awanui, and t >e hill near the Counhnuse is covered with the tents. All express indignation at the horrible crime.
