Great enthusiasm prevails throughput this, city owing io the elections for the Sobrange having been in favour of M. Stambouloff and his supporters. The populace accorded Prince Ferdinand and M. Stambouloff an ovation.

The victory of M. Stairibjuloff and his. party was gaiiied by a large majority. Tho Committees of the Patriotic League have sent telegrams congratulating M. Stambouloff on his conduct during the crisis. M. Stambouloff has definitely refused to enter any Ministerial combination whatsoever, as he wishes to reserve his political action and hie great influence .ever the country, leaving to the Prince the duty of taking such decisions as the situation may require. . In the elections for the new Sobranje the Government have an overwhelming majority, though only one fourth of the electorate voted. All the Opposition leaders have been rejected.
