ELECTORAL DISTRICT OF EAST COAST. Gisborne, Sept. 1, 1887. Jn pursuance of the " Regulations of Elec, tions Act,” 1881, I, Jambs Booth Returning Officer for the Electoral District of East Coast, do hereby give notice that by virtue of a Writ bearing date the 26th of August, under the hand of the Clerk oi the Write, an Election will be held for the return of one qualified person to serve as Member for the said ElectoraljDiatrict. and that the Nomination of Candidates will take place at the Court House, Gisborne, at Noon, on SATURDAY, 17th September’ 1887; and that the Poll, if necessary, will be taken at the Polling places of the said district on MOMDAY, the 26th day of September, 1887. The following are the Polling-places for the Electorial district of East Coast:— The Court House, Gisborne (principal) The Court House, Ormond The Schoolhouse, Te Aral The Court House, Clyde The Schoolhouse, Tolago Bay The Schoolhouse, Tokomaru The Schoolhouse Wai o-matatini The Residence of Mr William Morrice, junior, Mahia The Schoolhouse, Erasertown The Schoolhouse, Patutahi The Schoolhouse, Karaka Mr McNair’s Store, Waimata Mr F. Arthur's Woolshed. Whatatutu Mr J .nips Fletcher’s Stables, Marumaru JAMES BOOTH, Returning Officer.

Pending the appointment of a Liquidator’ or other arrangement, all person, indebted to the late firm are cautioned against paying any money due to the .aid firm to any person without my written consent.
