ELECTORAL DISTRICT OF EAST COAST. Gisborne, Sept. 1, 1887. Jn pursuance of the " Regulations of Elec, tions Act,” 1881, I, Jambs Booth Returning Officer for the Electoral District of East Coast, do hereby give notice that by virtue of a Writ bearing date the 26th of August, under the hand of the Clerk oi the Write, an Election will be held for the return of one qualified person to serve as Member for the said ElectoraljDiatrict. and that the Nomination of Candidates will take place at the Court House, Gisborne, at Noon, on SATURDAY, 17th September’ 1887; and that the Poll, if necessary, will be taken at the Polling places of the said district on MOMDAY, the 26th day of September, 1887.
