BULGARIAN THRONE. REFUSAL OF THE POWERS TO RECOGNIZE FERDINAND. LoSooS, August 24. News from Sofia is very serious. The German and French Governments have broken off relations with the Bulgarian Government on account of Prince Ferdinand having gone to Sofia without the consent of the Powers. Other Governuii.tta. are expected to set in a similar manner.
Both here and in Vienna there is considerable anxiety as to the result of the. crisis, as Russia remains openly hostile to Bulgaria, and should a strong Government be not soon formed, it is feared she will actively interfere. THE PORTE PREPARING. Lain.
Late news from Bulgaria has been received to the effect that Russia will interfere to prevent Prince Ferdinand ascending the throne. The Bulgarians are in a very excited state, and serious results are feared should the Prince be molested in any way. Two divisions of the Turkish army are being mobilised.
