REEFTON NOTES
(Cur Own Ccrrespon’ient) Mr P. Mr-Donald, the National Party candidate for the Buljer electorate, addressed Reefton electors m the Oddfellows Hall on Wednesday. Mr J. S. McGregor, County chairman presided, and introduced the candidate. Mr McDonald, who was given an attentive hearing. He spoke 1 ciover an hour on the aims of the National Party. At the close of the address, the speaker answered a number of questions and was accorded a vote of thanks, on the motion of Messrs K. J. Patterson and A. G. Wells. , . A decision to defer the work ol forming a bowling club for the Reelton Returned Services Club, was made at a general meeting of club members at Reefton. , The president, Mr W. G. Portei reported that arrangements were well in hand for the visit to the club of Mr Cark McConachy, to play a:: exhibition billiards match in the clue rooms early in December. It was reported that the billiards table had been reconditioned. WHAT’S ON IN WESTPORT.
