To-day .all they have left is the clothes they are wearing and a blanket. In about half an hour their temporary home, at New Brighton, was razed by fire, whith was first noticed shortly after 9.30 o’clock last evening. For two weeks, Dirs Woods had I'ved in the hatch and had stored her belongings there, with the idea that should she be lucky in her househunting, these could be moved to the new residence. Not even the dire loss she had suf - fered as a result of the fire could dampen her efforts to find accommodation this morning. She continued her search for premises. Since the lire, Mrs Woods has ieceived a blanket from a sympatheticonlooker.
