(Our Own .Correspondent) The Inangahua Silver Band visited Westport at the week-end to attend the final day of the 80th jubilee celebrations of the Westport Municipal Band. The day’s programme included a procession and a sports meeting, with a bandsmen’s dinner, followed by a dance. The Granity Band macle its first appearance with a new set oi’ instruments just landed from the United Kingdom, and costing over £2OOO.
