ROWING English Eight For Empire Games
LONDON, November 6 England’s rowing eight for the Empire Games will be: A. S. F. Butcher (Cambridge and Thames), F. A. de Giles (Cambridge and Leander), W. A.D. Windham (Cambridge and Leander), H. W. Rushmere (Thames), R. D. Burnell (Oxford and Leander), P. C. Kirkpatrick (Thames), M. C. Lapage (Cambridge and Leander), P. Bradley (Leander), J. G. Dearlove (Thames, cox). J. B. Brown and K. E. Pynegate will represent England in the double sculls, and A. D. Rowe, last year’s Oxford president, will be the single sculler and spare man for the eight.
