U.S. STEEL WORKERS WIN PENSIONS

(Rec. 10.30). NEW YORK, Nov. 8. The firm of Jones and Laughlin, the fourth largest steel" producer in the United States, has signed an agreement with the Steel Workers’ Union ending the strike at the works. This agreement is the same as the one signed by the Union with the Bethlehem Steel Company last week. The agreement provides that the workers on completing a certain term of service shall each have a pension of 100 dollars per month. It becomes effective immediately. Canada Wants More N.Z.
