LAMONT: On November 5, 1949, at his residence, 189 Leet Street. Invercargill, FREDERICK, beloved husband of Alma Lamont, and loved father of Marie in his 56th year (suddenly). Native of Cumberland, England; and late of Greymouth. The funeral will leave the residence of his sister, Mrs A. E. Brown, 36 Reid Street, Blaketown, at 3 p.m. TO-DAY (Wednesday) for the Karoro Cemetery.—Bellamy’s Funeral Directors.

BURROWS- On November 8, 1949. at Greymouth, JOHN BURROWS, of Ahaura, in his 74th year. Native of Ahaura. The funeral will leave St. Stephen’s Church, Ahaura, following a service to commence at 2.30 p.m. TO-MORROW (Thursday for the Ahaura Cemetery. — Sampson’s Funeral Service.
