Czech Foreign Minister Risks Arrest if He Returns From U.N.O.
(Rec .10.5). LONDON, Nov. 7. The Czechoslovak Foreign Minister, Mr Clementis, has been attending the United Nations meetings in New York. It fs believed that he now is faced with the necessity of deciding either to return to his country, or to remain in America. The Daily Telegraph's diplomatic correspondent says: “If he riturnn, he is likely to be arrested, with consequent imprisonment, for an alleged deviation from Moscow Communist
doctrine. One fact, which will weigh heavily in making his decision, is that his wit? iJ in Czechoslovakia".
