NEW CABINET FOR EGYPT
CAIRO, November 4. Hussein Sirry Pasha has formed a new Cabinet, less than two hours after his resignation It has to be approved by King Farouk before it becomes official. All members of the Cabinet are non-party statesmen. According to informed sources, the Cabinet wil lact as caretaker for the Government until the General Election, which is expected to be held early next year. The Cabinet which resigned to-day was a four-party coaltion. It was formed last July “to alleviate tension among parties and prepare the way for free and healthy elections.”
Dominion awards, covering in one case fruit and produce stores employees and in the other oil stbies, have been issued.- The former provides fon a minimum of £7 5s ’weekly for workers over 21, dating from June 1 last. The waged. for oil store workers range between £7 5s and £7 12s weekly. * ’
