MELBOURNE, Nov 3. Benjamin Gelbart, who is on bail on charges relating to the Ravdell kidnapping case, called at Parliament House to protest aga'nst what lr called pol'ce prosecution. 11-’’ had a: interview with the chief Secretary Mr W. Leggatt, in wh'ch he claimed that he was being “pushed around” by the notice and held on “rapped up" charges. He also pre.tested against the confiscation of his car. M • Loggat; said he would make .nqu ries f -om the pol’ce Department' tnd hat, if he thought there were grounds for Gelbart’s compla’nts, he would ask him to repeat them in writ'ng and woihtl take appropriate action.
