NON-UNIONISTS TO BE ENGAGED AGAIN

To-day’s Arrangements At Auckland P.A. AUCKLAND, Nov. 3. The waterside workers at Auckland will receive a direction tomorrow morning from their National Executive to return to normal work. The dispute over the engagement of non-Union labour reached serious proportions over the past week in Auckland. It now will be placed before the Waterfront Industry Commission at Wellington by the national officials of the Union on Monday. A similar issued waa raised by the Wellington branch last week, but it was settled by the decision of the Commission, after the hearing of argument. The Wellington position, however, was not entirely parallel with that of Auckland. Separate submissions will thus have to be made on the Auckland case. The Commission required that the status quo on the engagement at Auckland of workers be restored to Auckland before hearing argument on the case. This the Union has agreed to.
