Karens Bombed
RANGOON. October 10 Burma air force planes which bombed Toungoo, a stonghold in Central Burma, scored a direct hit. on the headquarters of Saw Shwe Lay, the Karen insurgent Defence Minister, states the Burma army radio. The broadcast added that 120 Karens werp believed killed when air force Spitfires attached guerrilla concentrations near Ta 3 k-Kvi r about 40 miles north of Rangoon. More than 3009 Burmese were homeless after the Karens burned 10 villages in the Irrawaddy Delta district.
