Foul Surgeon
HOBART Mr. H. Clark, who lives in Tasmania’s Central Highlands, recently found that five of his fowls had eaten poisoned oats, promply slit their throats with a razor blade.
He emptied their crops, stiched up the incisions with a darning needle and black thread.
AH the fowls lived. One laid an egg he following day.
