STARVING CHILDREN FUND EXHAUSTED
(Rec. 10.40). SYDNEY. October 11. The Governments of Australia and New Zealand are considering further allocations to the United Nations Fund for the relief of starving children, says the A.B.C. There ’is practically no money left in the fund for the relief of these children, and fortyfive thousand pounds will be spent on fish liver oil capsules for the children. New Zealand, on a population basis, subscribed the largest amount of any country In the last appeal.
