SYDNEY, Oct 9.
R.A.A.F. Mosquito aircraft flew from Perth to Sydney in six hours and 13 minutes breaking the transcontinental record by two and a quarter hours. The average flying speed for the 2000-mile journey was abut 360 miles an hour.
