Mr M. R. Spiers has returned front to Christchurch. Mrs Roy Evans, formerly of Dillmanstown was a visitoy to Kumara yesterday. Mrs M. Hamer is at present on a visit to Christchurch. Kumara Basketball Club has just finished a most successful season, having won three trophies, namely the Baird Shield, the Gary Trophy, and Maindy Trophy, Congratulations must go to the team and to the four who gained rep honours, also to their coach.
